SUperPlan is currently developed as a Google Sketchup plugin, Google Sketchup is widely used by designers and contractors to rapidly generate models for project concept and visualisation.
SUperPlan is aimed at construction industry professionals for 2 principal purposes.
Firstly, for preperation and support of tenders. You want to communicate your schedule visually to better communicate your intent and successfully differentiate your bid. You don’t want to spend hours, days or weeks linking objects to tasks unintelligently when you could arrive at a fully cost loaded and quantity derived schedule.
Secondly, for value engineering in support of project delivery. You are frustrated by the time, cost and inaccuracy of cascading and considering changes in design. You want a systematic evaluation of your project’s time and cost to deliver; one in which changes to quantities or products in space (your project site) can be immediately recalculated to help drive your decision making process.
